Brett Gardner reaches base two times in a losing effort

Brett Gardner finished 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in the Yankees' 4-0 loss to the Tigers on Friday afternoon. Gardner has gotten on base in each of the last three games and has five walks thus far this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Gardner has left much to be desired in terms of OBP, only posting an OBP higher than .350 once in his eight-plus season career, but has come out of the gate with a .467 OBP in 2016. He has not hit the ball much in 2016, only posting two singles in four games, but his plate discipline has to be lauded. Gardner is 6-for-16 in his career against Saturday's starter for the Tigers, Mike Pelfrey, and the active Yankees have a culmulative .955 OPS against Pelfrey in their careers. The Yankees could be an attractive stack in DFS today.
