CC Sabathia, the last Yankees starter to win a rotation spot, became the first Yankees starter to go six innings this season. CC beat the Tigers 8-4 on Saturday, giving up three runs on four hits while striking out three. He walked four batters and managed to get out of a key jam
Fantasy Impact:
Sabathia is trying to re-invent himself since he doesn't have the velocity he used to. He could prove to be a solid number five starter for the Yankees, but innings eaters with high ERA and WHIP stats don't bring home fantasy trophies.
