David Ortiz productive in last home opener

David Ortiz finished 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in his final home opener at Fenway Park, a 9-7 Red Sox loss. Ortiz has five extra-base hits and a 1.102 OPS to open his last MLB season.
Fantasy Impact:
Fantasy owners were a bit timid to move on Ortiz coming into 2015, but a strong 2015 had owners looking to grab Ortiz early for his final season in 2016. Ortiz has paid great dividends for those that looked for his farewell tour, as he is 7-for-22 with two home runs and six RBI to open the season. The 40-year-old lefty masher has had an extra base hit in four of his five games this season and is a must-start player.
