Ian Desmond's struggles continue

Ian Desmond went 0-for-4 on Monday night as he continues to struggle in the early stages of the season. Desmond did manage to draw a walk and score a run, but also had a strikeout.
Fantasy Impact:
Desmond has just four hits on the season and has failed to adjust to American league pitching. The Rangers would be wise to give Desmond a day off very soon to get him relaxed and hopefully he can get back to being the hitter he is capable of being. As for now with him being shortstop eligible in most fantasy formats, he is still probably a better option than most shortstops. Consider Desmond a day-to-day starter right now until he can get back on track at the plate.
