Jon Lester escapes with a no-decision

by Nathaniel Schwartz | Tue, Apr 12th 4:17pm EDT

Jon Lester did not look as sharp as he did against the Angels, but he still put up a quality start against the Reds. He gave up three earned runs over six innings, off of five hits (one home run) and three walks. He struck out five batters on a total of 102 pitches.

Fantasy Impact:

Lester left the game as the losing pitcher, but the Cubs came back from behind to win the game and bail out their starting pitcher. Brandon Philips stole third base twice while Lester was in the game, so it appears that Lester's inability to throw to the bases will continue to hinder him this season.
