Ryan Howard homers in win over Padres

The Phillies improved to 5-5 on the season with a 3-0 win over the Padres on Thursday. Ryan Howard provided a big blow with his third home run of the season. He also knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly, finishing 1-for-2 with a walk. Howard is now batting .214 this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Although Howard has a low batting average and on-base percentage, he's been productive, owning a .536 slugging percentage this season. While he's likely to be unproductive versus left-hander and hit for a low batting average, Howard is still a legitimate power threat versus right-handed pitching.
