Zack Greinke gets no-decision; goes 7 1/3 innings

by Tony Pontecorvo | Sat, Apr 16th 2:56am EDT

Zack Greinke had his first solid outing of the young season on Friday, giving up two runs in 7 1/3 innings against the San Diego Padres. Greinke did not factor in the decision, a 3-2 Diamondback victory. Greinke gave up six hits and a walk and struck out five.

Fantasy Impact:

A year ago, this was a "bad" start for Greinke, but after giving up 11 earned runs in his first two starts of 2016, his owners can breathe a sigh of relief after this outing. His next start comes against a more formidable opponent in the San Francisco Giants, who he is 7-0 against in his career, with a 2.19 ERA.
