Jered Weaver gets roughed up by Twins

Jered Weaver failed to make it out of the fifth inning on Saturday, allowing four earned runs and gaining a no decision in the Angels' 6-4 loss to the Twins. Weaver allowed eight hits and two walks while striking out one batter in 4 1/3 innings of work.
Fantasy Impact:
The 33-year-old had been much sharper in his first start of the season last Sunday versus the Rangers, but saw his ERA raise to 4.50 after Saturday. He will try to rebound from this brutal start next Thursday versus the White Sox in Chicago. Weaver isn't much of a fantasy option until he can show he can provide starts where he can get out of the fifth inning.
