The Phillies fell to the Mets on Monday by the score of 5-2. Ryan Howard got one of the Phillies seven hits and also walked, but struck out twice. Howard continues to struggle overall and is batting just .200 this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Howard is slugging .500, but is drawing relatively few walks and striking out at his typically high rate. No longer a top power threat, Howard still has some fantasy value versus right-handed pitching. Just don't count on him to be your top first baseman.
