Matt Harvey labors through five innings in Mets' 6-3 win

by Nick Ritrivi | Sat, Apr 23rd 1:03am EDT

Harvey (1-3) picked up his first win of the season as the Mets knocked off the Braves 6-3. Despite picking up his first win of the year, Harvey wasn't sharp and needed 101 pitches to get though five innings against a weak Atlanta lineup. He yielded seven hits, one walk, two ER and struck out five.

Fantasy Impact:

Harvey managed only four missed bats in his five innings of work and continues to struggle at the beginning of 2016. The damage against Harvey could have been worse had Yoenis Cespedes not thrown out Nick Markakis at home to end the fifth inning. Harvey will try to get on track in his next start at home against the Reds next week.
