Yovani Gallardo placed on 15-day DL with shoulder ailment

The Orioles placed Gallardo on the disabled list after experiencing soreness in his throwing shoulder. The team is calling it tendinitis and Gallardo will have an MRI on Sunday to determine if there is more serious damage. (Roch Kubatko on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gallardo experienced shoulder issues in the spring which led to the Orioles restructuring his contract. He was pulled from his last start after just two innings and complained of discomfort. Kevin Gausman will take Gallardo's place in the rotation for the time being, but shoulder injuries are worrisome and Brian Matusz has been activated to occupy the roster spot.
