Carlos Santana gets on-base four times from leadoff spot

by Gavin Tramps | Twins Correspondent | Thu, Apr 28th 9:08am EDT

1B/DH Carlos Santana went 3-for-4 with two runs, a walk and a stolen base in the Indians' 6-5 win over the Twins on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

This was the fifth time in the last six games that Carlos Santana has hit leadoff. In this small sample, he is hitting .385 (10-for-26). The switch-hitter appeared to twinge his knee rounding third base but continued to play the whole game. Expect him to get one, two or even three starts at first base when the Indians take on the Phillies in interleague play starting on Friday.
