Rehab outing goes well for Yu Darvish

Yu Darvish tossed two scoreless innings for Double-A Frisco today in the first of his scheduled minor league rehab outings. Darvish faced off against light-hitting Houston affiliate Corpus Christi (team batting average of .211), but still, the results were satisfying. Darvish walked one and struck out two and threw 32 pitches. (www.dallasnews.com)
Fantasy Impact:
As expected, his command was a little off. But Darvish certainly fared better in his first rehab outing than others before him such as Miami's Jose Fernandez or Tampa Bay's Matt Moore. Most importantly, Darvish averaged 94.3 mph on his fastball and touched 97 a couple of times.
