Adam Wainwright moved to 2-3 with a win over the Phillies on Monday. Wainwright allowed three runs over six innings, giving up five hits and one walk while striking out four. His ERA sits at 6.68 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
There's a long way to go before Wainwright's numbers are respectable, but this is a second consecutive positive step for him. He's a risky start this weekend against the Pirates, but if he continues to throw well, he can be moved back into fantasy rotations on a consistent basis.
