Pablo Sandoval out for the season

Pablo Sandoval needs reconstructive surgery on his left shoulder, per ESPN's Buster Olney. Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe reported Monday night that the surgery is "significant" and the odds are against Sandoval playing this season, so Olney's report appears to jibe with that. Fantasy Impact:
If you are holding onto Pablo Sandoval in the hope that he would come back, this news should be enough for you to drop him. Sandoval does have three more years on his contract so the Red Sox will try to get him back in the lineup next season, but he will not make much of an impact fantasy wise until he can get into shape.
