Freddie Freeman goes 1-for-3 in Braves loss

by Kyle Borgognoni | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, May 4th 5:27pm EDT

Freeman was 1-for-3 with a single in the Braves' 8-0 loss to the Mets on Wednesday afternoon.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman has reached base safely in nine straight games as he's raised his OBP to .369, right at what his career average has been. He's definitely turned the corner from his meager beginnings of this season. However, he still has too little RBI opportunities in this lineup to be a top rate first base option. The Braves have an off day Thursday before taking on the Diamondbacks' Zack Greinke against whom Freeman has a .083 BAA and six Ks in his career.
