Dan Straily posts best start of season against Pirates, Reds win late

by Justin Elick | Tue, May 10th 2:57pm EDT

Straily turned in six solid innings on Monday night against the Pirates, allowing just two earned runs on four hits. He struck out four and walked three. The Reds bullpen finally broke through with a scoreless outing, keeping the Pirates off the scoreboard for the final three innings in a 3-2 win.

Fantasy Impact:

Straily has continued to pitch well for the Reds, and is a player to consider in deeper leagues. He has now pitched at least six innings and allowed three runs or less in three straight starts. He is scheduled to start his next game Sunday at Philadelphia, and is a fine streaming option in that good matchup.
