by Stan Son | Dodgers Correspondent | Fri, May 13th 12:30am EDT

Clayton Kershaw was magnificent on Thursday night against the New York Mets. He hurled a complete-game, three-hit shutout, walking one, and striking out 13 batters for the win. 73-of-109 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Kershaw has now thrown five consecutive games with 10 or more strikeouts. On the season, he's compiled a 1.74 ERA, 0.73 WHIP with 77 strikeouts and only four walks in 62 innings. His next scheduled start is at home against the Los Angeles Angels, ranked 19th in OPS against left-handed pitching and 28th in strikeouts. It's Kershaw, so those numbers are just for educational purposes.
