Johnny Cueto allowed two runs on eight hits with two walks and nine strikeouts over seven innings in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
It was another fantastic outing for Cueto, especially considering he moved from his pitcher-friendly home park to Arizona for the game. He moved his ERA and WHIP below 3.00 and 1.20 on the season with Thursday's effort. His advanced metrics would indicate that what he's shown so far is sustainable. While he's susceptible to a blowup, as shown already this season, he should be a strong fantasy contributor, especially considering his home park.
