Three hits for Adam Eaton on Friday

by Chris Zolli | Sat, May 14th 11:42am EDT

Adam Eaton saw his batting average jump back over .300 on the season with a 3-for-4 performance against the Yankees on Friday. He hit a double, scored a run, and drove in two against New York and now has nine extra-base hits this season. He has a .812 OPS this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Although Eaton is not flashy or a OF1/OF2 type, he is fifth in the American League with a .404 OPS and can do a little bit of everything, even if he does not do enough to be a star. He has 10 RBI, 18 runs scored, and four stolen bases this season, walking more times than striking out and proving as one of the most selective hitters in baseball. Eaton is 1-for-2 with a walk against Saturday's starter for the Yankees, Ivan Nova, and has a .353 batting average away from home this season.
