Wil Myers was scratched from Sunday's lineup with left forearm tightness. Myers said he had felt the injury the day before, but that his forearm "locked up" in batting practice before Sunday's game, and he couldn't swing normally. (San Diego Tribune)
Fantasy Impact:
Myers has yet to put together a full season, so fantasy owners have a reason to be concerned. Myers added that he did not believe it was a DL situation, but any player's stated opinion at this early stage usually isn't worth much. The Padres have an off-day on Monday, and hopefully, Myers will be back in the lineup on Tuesday. But, fantasy owners definitely need to be monitoring the situation over the next couple of days.
