Jose Altuve went 1-for-5 at the plate scoring two runs and swiping two bags in a defeat against the Red Sox.

Altuve is riding an eight-game hitting streak and leads the entire MLB in runs scored (37) and stolen bases (15). Looking ahead, the Astros open a three-game series against the White Sox in Chicago where Altuve will be facing lefty pitchers two out of the three games. In 2016, Altuve is hitting .458 vs lefties and has the highest batting average against southpaws in the entire major leagues since 2011 (.358). So he is a must-start in this series and moving forward.
