Astros consider benching Carlos Gomez

The Astros have indicated that they are becoming impatient with struggling OF Carlos Gomez. The team has hinted that it could bench him if he's unable to turn things around. (Houston Chronicle)
Fantasy Impact:
Gomez is one of the largest disappointments of the season both in terms of fantasy and real baseball. He's only mustered an OPS of .486 over 121 at-bats, generating more than twice as many strikeouts than hits. The one thing in Gomez's favor is the lack of replacement options for the team and of course his contract and history of success.
