Logan Morrison logs first multi-hit game and RBI of the season on Tuesday

by Mike Werner | Wed, May 18th 1:11am EDT

Logan Morrison went 2-for-5 with a run and two RBI in the Rays 12-2 win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Morrison singled in the second inning, and would later score his second run of May, and fourth run of the season. In the third inning, he was able to earn his first RBI as a Ray and of the season when he grounded into a force play with two runners on, and would later grab his second hit and RBI of the evening in the fifth inning when he singled in Steve Pearce, with all of the damage coming off Marcus Stroman. Morrison has been losing playing time, and after starting the season in the two-hole, has found himself hitting seventh. He has zero home runs, and only two extra-base hits on the entire season in 90 at-bats, and is also hitting .144/.238/.167 as well. He may be heating up a bit, but he's got a long way to go before fantasy owners, even in AL-only formats, can take a look.
