Matt Holliday goes hitless again on Tuesday

by Dan Harris | Wed, May 18th 9:48am EDT

Matt Holliday went 0-for-4 on Tuesday against the Rockies. Holliday has now gone 0-for-4 in three straight games, dropping his average down to .248.

Fantasy Impact:

Holliday is not a guy you want to worry about much when it comes to production on a day-in, day-out basis. If you have him on your team as a fourth or fifth outfielder, just leave him in your lineup, close your eyes, and you'll end the year seeing 20-25 homers and around 80 RBI. The days of him hitting .300 are likely gone, but he should be able to bring his average up to the .270 range or so, given his lack of strikeouts.
