Manny Machado is 3-for-6 with a home run against Tuesday's starter for the Astros, Doug Fister, and should be a top talent to target in DFS. He only has a .136 batting average over the last seven days, but look for him to break out of his slump against Fister and the Astros. His batting average on the road is .257.
Fantasy Impact:
Only four of his 12 home runs this season and eight of his 28 extra-base hits are on the road, so there may be low ownership of Machado tonight. That being said, Machado's cold spell, seeing his batting average fall from .360 to .308 over the last 10 games, makes him a great option as a contrarian pick. A player of Machado's caliber does not stay cold for long and look for his statistics to improve against Fister.
