Adrian Beltre not a solid option on Tuesday
by Chris Zolli | Tue, May 24th 7:24pm EDT
Adrian Beltre is 1-for-2 with a walk against Jhoulys Chacin, the Angels' starter on Tuesday, but only has a .208 batting average over the last week and .238 batting average in May. Four of Beltre's seven home runs have come this month, but he still only has a .759 OPS this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Beltre is a mid-tier fantasy 3B and should only be started in DFS if he has a great matchup. Even though he does not have a great matchup for DFS purposes, that does not mean that he should be benched or cut in season long leagues, as he is a top-10 3B still. His cold streak could make him a buy-low option worth considering for fantasy owners.
