Justin Verlander was brilliant on Tuesday, tossing eight innings of three-hit ball, blanking the Phillies. He walked two, but struck out 10.
Fantasy Impact:
Verlander has had some ups and downs this season, but has allowed only three runs over his last 15 2/3 innings. However, those two great starts have come against bad teams in the Phillies and Twins. In fact, all of his wins have come against sub-.500 teams except the Phillies on Tuesday.
