Huge game for Nelson Cruz

Although it was a bit overshadowed by Adam Lind's two home runs and six RBI, Nelson Cruz was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBI, and a home run against the Athletics. Cruz has seen his batting average jump 28 points to .293 over the last 10 games and has six home runs and 18 RBI this month. He has a .917 OPS this season.
Fantasy Impact:
The slugging Cruz has shown himself over the last weeks and he is fulfilling his OF1 promise. Cruz has hits in eight of his last 10 games and has seen his OPS go from .852 in April to .986 in May. He has never faced Pat Dean, the Twins' starter on Friday, and has a .822 OPS at home.
