Mark Teixeira to have cortisone injection for neck injury

Mark Teixeira continues to experience discomfort in his neck, and he will receive a cortisone injection. The Yankees continue to say that a stint on the disabled list hasn't been discussed for the veteran. (Bryan Hoch on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Teixeira has dealt with injuries through the early part of the season, and his production has been lacking as a result. He's limped to a .576 OPS. Owners hoping for power production from the former slugger have been disappointed with only three HRs. Assuming the way things have gone, he could hit the disabled list sooner than later if he continues to experience discomfort.
