Mark Reynolds

Mark Reynolds a great play on Thursday

by Chris Zolli | Thu, May 26th 5:50pm EDT

Mark Reynolds is 5-for-15 against the Red Sox starter on Wednesday, Clay Buchholz, and has two home runs and a double off of the right-handed pitcher. He is also hot this month, as he has a .324 batting average and nine RBI in May. Reynolds has a .824 OPS this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Buchholz's 5.92 ERA could spell a Rockies stack for tonight, but there are not a lot of Colorado players with a lot of experience against Boston's pitcher. Reynolds mashed Buchholz when they were AL East foes and has a respectable seven-game hitting streak. At a minimum, you can expect that hitting streak to extend to eight and you can feel comfortable that he adds extra-base hits and RBI to that tally as well.
