Brandon Phillips

Brandon Phillips is a confusing play on Saturday

by Chris Zolli | Sat, May 28th 11:57am EDT

Brandon Phillips is 2-for-8 with a home run against the Brewers' starter on Saturday, Cody Anderson, and has five of his six home runs this season this month. Phillips has hits in three of his last five games, scorinrg runs in each of his last two games, but has not had an extra-base hit for the last four games. He has a .711 OPS this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Phillips will not make or break a DFS lineup today, but his .190 batting average over the last seven days and five home runs this month tell two different stories. He has seen his batting average drop from .277 to .248 over the last 10 games, but does have a .300 batting average and four home runs against the Brewers this season. Further confusing the pick is that he only has a .554 OPS away from Great American Ballpark this season, .680 OPS against right-handed pitchers, and a .666 OPS at Miller Park from 2013-2015.
