Troy Tulowitzki placed on Disabled List

Troy Tulowitzki was placed on the 15-day DL with a right quad strain. Tulo missed two straight games earlier this week with soreness in his quad before returning to the lineup on Friday. However, Blue Jays manager John Gibbons told reporters that Tulo aggravated the injury Friday and was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Saturday. (Shi Davidi on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Tulowitzki has struggled so far this season batting a career-low .204 with eight home runs and 23 RBI in 46 games. He has batted just .221 in 87 games since being acquired by Toronto in last year's blockbuster trade with the Colorado Rockies.
