Samardzija allowed five runs, four earned, six hits and two walks in five innings. The righty was looking for his fourth consecutive win, but had some calls go against him and gave up an untimely triple with the bases loaded and two outs in the second inning.
Fantasy Impact:
It was The Shark's shortest start this season, but he still holds a 7-3 record and is enjoying a nice bounce-back year with the Giants. His next outing could be tough as he faces a Cardinals team that is slugging .481 along with a wOBA of .350 against RHP.
