Dan Straily gives up five earned in Coors, gets win number 3 in shootout
by Justin Elick | Tue, May 31st 12:27pm EDT
Straily served up five earned over six innings of work at the hitters paradise of Coors Field on Monday, moving his record to 3-2 with the win. He gave up eight hits, walked three, and struck out four as the Reds won just their 5th road contest in 24 tries with an 11-8 victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Straily has been the lone bright spot in this Reds' rotation this season, and now owns a 3.43 ERA and 1.19 WHIP on the season with a 56/27 K/BB over 60.1 IP. He can be added in deep leagues at this point, as he is really the only viable (healthy) option in this Reds rotation right now. His next start is scheduled for Saturday vs. Washington.
