Jonathon Niese takes no decision Wednesday

Niese allowed two earned runs and six hits while walking three and striking out six over five innings in the Pirates 3-2 loss to the Marlins on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Niese did not pitch poorly, but was inefficient with his pitches as it took him 95 pitches to get through five innings. Though his season-long numbers are not all that impressive, he has given up two earned runs or fewer in each of his past four starts. A lack of strikeouts keeps him from being a fantasy asset in shallower formats, but he has become relatively consistent as the season wears on. He will get his next start against his former team, the Mets, on Monday.
