Aroldis Chapman has converted all eight save attempts

by Chris Zolli | Pirates Correspondent | Sat, Jun 4th 3:32pm EDT

Aroldis Chapman has allowed runs in two of his last four appearances, including a run with three baserunners against the Tigers in his last appearance, but is still 8-for-8 on save attempts. Chapman did not strikeout a batter against the Tigers, only his second time in 11 appearances this season that he did not strikeout a batter. He has 15 strikeouts in 10 1/3 innings this season.

Fantasy Impact:

The back-end of the Yankee bullpen has been the strength of the 2016 Yankees, but Chapman allowing three baserunners in two of his last four outings is an unsettling sight. Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller each allowed a run against the Tigers on Thursday as well, with Betances taking the loss against the Orioles on Friday as well, limiting a save opportunity for Chapman against Baltimore. His strikeout potential is massive, but if the Yankees do not start winning, Chapman's value will continue to drop.
