by Chris Zolli | Wed, Jun 8th 8:00am EDT

Ian Kinsler finished 2-for-4 with a walk, a run, a double, and two RBI, providing the walk-off hit in the Tigers' 3-2 comeback victory over the Blue Jays. Kinsler has a .357 batting average with six runs scored and seven RBI to open June, He has a .894 OPS this season.

Fantasy Impact:

In every other season, a second baseman with a .894 OPS, 50 runs scored, 24 extra-base hits, and seven stolen bases on June 8 would be the top fantasy 2B; unfortunately for Kinsler, Jose Altuve is just that good. Even though he is not putting up Altuve's numbers, Kinsler has provided in every category and is on pace for his second 30 home run season, nearly 100 RBI, and 140 runs scored. Kinsler is 8-for-19 with three home runs against R.A. Dickey in his career and has an .836 OPS against right-handed pitchers this season.
