Doug Fister picks up the win against Texas

Doug Fister allowed only one run on seven hits while striking out five in six innings of work against the Rangers. He improved his record to 6-3 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Fister has been the Astros most consistent starting pitcher this season, owning a 3.34 ERA in 72 2/3 innings. Over his last seven starts, the Astros are undefeated and he owns a 4-0 record with an even smaller 2.49 ERA. He will not blow you away with velocity, and doesn't make many batters miss, but he consistently keeps runs off the board making him a solid fantasy contributor.
