Clayton Kershaw allowed five hits (one home run), two earned runs, and struck out 13 in eight innings Saturday night against the Giants. 78-of-108 pitches were thrown for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
Ho hum. Another double-digit strikeout performance for Kershaw. That makes eight in 13 starts this year. So far in 2016, Kershaw is posting a 1.52 ERA, 0.65 WHIP with 122 strikeouts and only six walks in 100 2/3 innings. His next scheduled start is in Arizona to face the Diamondbacks, a team that ranks 4th in OPS against left-handed pitching. This will be the first matchup against the Diamondbacks this season for Kershaw.
