Brett Gardner's nine-game hitting streak snapped
by Dan Harris | Mon, Jun 13th 4:57pm EDT
Brett Gardner went 0-for-3 on Sunday against the Tigers, snapping his nine-game hitting streak. Gardner raised his batting average almost 50 points during the streak to .258.
Fantasy Impact:
Although Gardner's home run and RBI totals are low, he's now back to his typical season-long pace in the other categories. Expect Gardner to continue to score a lot of runs and steal bases at his usual clip for the rest of the season.
