R.A. Dickey gets no run support in quality start

by Roy Widrig | Tue, Jun 14th 8:04am EDT

R.A. Dickey earned a quality start in his seventh loss of the season on Monday as the Blue Jays fell to the Phillies, 7-0. Dickey allowed three runs on five hits and three walks, including two solo home runs, but also had the bullpen relent an inherited run in the seventh inning. He struck out four.

Fantasy Impact:

Dickey was fine but had no shot on a night when the Blue Jays scattered a miserable six hits over nine innings. That being said, he still allowed three runs and struck out only four, so anyone running with him in fantasy last night learned that he's too unpredictable to be a quality option.
