Matt Garza returns from the disabled list for a start on Tuesday evening

Matt Garza returned from the disabled list to make his season debut on Tuesday evening. He allowed one run on eight hits while walking one and striking out five batters over four innings. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Garza threw 87 pitches, 54 for strikes. There was a slim chance at a win, as he was up against Madison Bumgarner, but for Garza is was a step in the right direction. After designating Wily Peralta, the Brewers are in need of a starter and Garza is their most obvious in house option. If he can string together a month or two of quality starts, he's certainly a trade candidate for the rebuilding Brewers. Garza will look to take another step forward on Sunday in Los Angeles against the Dodgers.
