Chris Sale went seven innings, giving up three earned runs on six hits, while striking out seven. Sale ran his record to 11-2 with a 2.94 ERA. He becomes the first pitcher in the bigs to reach 11 victories.

Chris Sale survived a rough 3rd inning, to secure his major league leading 11th victory. However, Sale hasn't been his dominant self of late, with a 5.59 ERA in the month of June. Yet, no need to panic on Sale, this seems to be just a blip on the radar for the lanky southpaw.
