Melky Cabrera drove in a run as the White Sox topped the Tigers 5-3

by Rob Schwarz, Jr. | Thu, Jun 16th 10:36am EDT

The White Sox let up three runs early, but battled back to win 5-3. Melky Cabrera started things off by hitting a sacrifice fly in the first inning to drive in Tim Anderson. Cabrera also hit a double in the fifth inning but was stranded on base. He finished 1-for-3 with a RBI and a strikeout.

Fantasy Impact:

The double was Cabrera's 14th on the year. He has played well and is hitting .287. He is not a fantasy star but is worth owning in most formats. He has hit safely in six of his 10 games in June and has six RBI over the last seven. He will face off against Trevor Bauer and the Indians on Friday. Cabrera has a .063 average in 16 at-bats against Bauer.
