A.J. Griffin having his struggles on rehab assignment

A.J. Griffin has made a pair of starts for Double-A Frisco as part of his injury rehab assignment, and the results have not been great. Griffin sits at 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA as he has given up nine hits in just 5.1 innings of work. He's walked two and struck out six. (www.milb.com)
Fantasy Impact:
With Yu Darvish back on the DL, getting Griffin back to the major league rotation is a high priority for the Rangers. Before he was injured, the veteran had posted a 3-0 mark with a 2.94 ERA along with an impressive 1.04 WHIP. Until he's ready, the Rangers will make do with Cesar Ramos, Nick Martinez or possibly Chi Chi Gonzalez.
