Tim Lincecum has strong outing in his season opener

Lincecum threw his first outing of the 2016 season for the Angels who had signed him recently. He went six innings allowing one run. He gave up four hits and two walks while striking out two batters.
Fantasy Impact:
It was a very encouraging outing for his first time out. The Angels need pitching help and he needed a fresh start away from the team and fans who has seen him when he was a dominant ace before his decline. He probably will not get back to the fantasy monster he used to be but it is possible that he carves out a respectable second act to his career. If you are in a deep league and he is available, he is an interesting lottery ticket to take a chance on.
