Brian McCann on the season is hitting .219 with 10 homers and 29 RBI. McCann hadn't gone deep in nearly two weeks heading into Sunday, but he slugged a couple of deep drives estimated at 840 feet combined. He has been rather disappointing this season, as his OPS sits at just .737 to go along with 10 home runs and 29 RBI, but perhaps Sunday's effort is a sign of better things to come for the veteran.
