Jon Jay out with forearm injury

Fantasy Impact:
Jay is considered day-to-day for the time being, and it would appear that he'll avoid a stint on the disabled list. He's been one of the bright spots in an otherwise lacking Padres' offense. As the team's leadoff hitter, Jay has posted an OPS of .752, including a .296 batting average. The counting stats are limited by the team he's playing for, which ultimately limits his fantasy value.
