Ian Desmond hits long pinch hit home run on Wednesday

Ian Desmond went 1-for-1 with a pinch hit 447-foot solo home run in the seventh inning off reliever J.J. Hoover in the Rangers 6-4 victory over the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Desmond continues to have a great bounce-back season with the Rangers as he's now batting .316 with 12 home runs, 19 doubles, 47 RBI, 52 runs scored to go along with 13 steals through 72 games. He's had an excellent month of June batting .363 with five home runs, five doubles, 15 RBI, nine walks and three steals. Fantasy owners that took a chance on Desmond in the middle rounds are having it pay off big time, especially with the shortstop eligibility. Fantasy owners will look to ride Desmond the rest of the way in 2016.
